Will my theme (Chateau) look good on a small-screen/mobile device?

  I want my theme to read well on a mobile screen as well as a desk/laptop. Some theme choices (few, such as “Chaos Theory”, and “Twenty Thirteen”) specifically state they transfer to mobile well. Does that mean the others don’t?

  Hi there,

  If you use a theme with a responsive layout, that theme is optimized for mobile devices. You can search for responsive layouts under Appearance > Themes in your dashboard. Next to the search box on that page, you can click on “Feature Filter” and select “Responsive Layout” in the Width section. We also have a list of responsive themes in our theme directory here:

  Themes that are not optimized for mobile devices can still use the mobile theme, which is enabled under Appearance > Mobile. If you choose not to enable the mobile theme, visitors on mobile devices will see a full version of your site on their devices. You can read more about this here: Mobile Themes
