Will WordPress soon load faster and save drafts without reloading entire page?

  WordPress in the browser (Chrome) works slowly for me, for example when I am writing a post and either publish it or click “Save Draft” the entire page has to reload, rather than using AJAX or whatever to keep everything from disappearing and reloading. I feel as if it should and could be more snappy, incorporating more dynamic content and requiring fewer reloads.
