Will you create a translation widget?

    I think you might not have received my widget question/suggestion yesterday, so here it is again. I hope I will get an answer from you.

    I write my blog in french, but follow and comment mostly on english blogs.

    I was looking for a translation plugin, because I don’t want to translate my whole blog by myself, and because I see in my stats that a lot of people are just passing by my front page without going through the articles, any of them. I find that very disturbing. I have little traffic for now, because I’m starting to blog, and most people won’t come back because of the language barrier. Translating my whole blog, every article would be too much work, that is why I need a widget to translate to english (at least!), maybe also spanish and portuguese…

    So I was wondering if the WordPress team was thinking about adding a translation widget. It would be amazing! Please tell me you are thinking about it!

    I went and had a look, and thought it was interesting at first, but it looks like once I have the translation button or page on my blog, the readers are then reading my blog through the Google translation site or something like that, and the truth is it doesn’t look very good, and the translation is not very good either. I think the experience of reading a blog also comes from being on the blog’s pages and looking at it… so I don’t know what I’ll do. I will certainly think about that.

    And I am still interested in any other alternatives other readers (of this post) might know of.
