Wish to change default URL

    I added a custom .me domain to one of my blogs and it has a different name than the URL. I’d like to change the default URL to match to new domain name attached to it. I have the .me domain name set as the primary domain, but I’d like the URL to match the new name. How can I do this?

    That is possible, but there isn’t any particular reason for doing so. With a custom domain name, your viewers will never see your site’s ________.wordpress.com domain name. The only time you yourself will ever see it is when you access your site’s dashboard area for admin purposes.

    Please keep in mind that WordPress.com does not recycle URLs. So if you change your URL, your old site URL will become unavailable for you or anyone else to use again in the future.
