Wix Has My Content, Why Is This Happening?

Why does the other website building platform, Wix have two of my blog posts on their site? How did they get access to my blog? I did not give permission to the site to use my content and display it. They gave me credit, as it is my own writing, but I am confused as to how they were able to easily take my writing. Is there a setting that I can change to prevent other website building sites from taking my content without permission?

What is the address of the WordPress.com site the content is from?
Wix, like WordPress.com is a hosting provider. If a site on Wix has your content, then it was the individual who owns that site who posted that content, not Wix.
And unless you deleted your old site or set it to private, that site will still be available online and accessible to anyone with an internet connection, making it very easy to copy any content published publicly on it.
If you don’t want your content on a site to be accessible any more, you can set the site to private:
