Wix import never sends an email to indicate its done.

I’m trying to use the Wix Import tool… it asks for website URL, quickly shows a progress bar then says it’ll email when it’s done. It never sends an email (not in spam folder). I’ve tried it several times.

The reason the Wix Import tool is getting stuck and failing to send an email is that the background migration script is silently crashing after you submit the URL. This usually happens if your Wix site has a heavy splash page, specific privacy restrictions, or script-heavy layouts that block the automated importer from scanning the content. To bypass this automated bug entirely, you can manually export your Wix content instead. Log into your Wix dashboard, navigate to your blog manager, and look for the option to export your posts as an RSS Feed (or simply append /blog-feed.xml to your Wix website URL to see if your raw feed loads). Save that XML file to your computer, then go to your WordPress.com dashboard under Tools > Import, select the WordPress importer option, and upload your saved XML file there to cleanly bring your posts over without relying on the broken automated tool!
