  I am transferring from WIX to WordPress: what happens to my WIX site when I make the transfer? Does it go into ‘under construction’ mode or what does that look like if a customer goes to my website during this timeframe?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hello there,

  Wix would ultimately need to confirm, but the site would be present under the same domain or a temporary wix domain.

  Once the content is moved over you would then need to move the domain over to WordPress.com, and that’s when the WordPress version of the site would be present.
