won't let me buy domain??

  trying to buy the domain for my blog directly through wordpress…got to the end of the checkout process and it said there was an error with payment. I’m using the same debit card I use for all my online orders- I don’t have a car so amazon is pretty crucial to me. Why won’t it let me? =(
