While trying to publish post through Word, I’m getting above error.

Hi there, I don’t know how much we can help with this, since we cannot access Word on your computer, and I have not done this in a long time. Generally though, all you need to enter when you connect is your WordPress.com username and password and follow the prompts. See if this article I found in a web search helps.

It looks like people have previously resolved this problem by making sure that they connect through Word using secure HTTP (https://) instead of regular (http://) so you might try connecting with https://onestopupsc.wordpress.com instead of http://onestopupsc.wordpress.com.

Thanks for sharing the guest post from my blog, @thesacredpath. Jim, the author, went into a lot of detail on how to set it up and shared pros and cons one using Word to publish to WordPress.
