Word Press doesn’t recognize my email or username

    Hi.

    What I did wrong: I created a website through WordPress 3 years ago, and I let the domain name lapse.

    What I tried to do to fix it: I’m trying to add a new domain name to the site, but I can’t log in to wordpress to make changes. My site account has peaceofmindyogaflorida as my username and (email visible only to moderators and staff) as my email address. But when I try to log in, the log in doesn’t recognize these names.

    What I’d like to know: I’d like to edit my page and change the domain name. Is that possible? Could you help me find out my log in and what I need to do to change the domain name?
    I can view the website with this http://54.88.44.36/, but I cannot update anything on that screen.

    Hi there,

    The site you are referring to appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on Amazon Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.

    To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and Amazon also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here.
