Word Press Upgrade

    Hi there,
    So I am looking to either upgrade to the $5 or $10 a month web plans but I have some questions.
    1. Once I upgrade am I able to change the theme of my blog or does word press do that for me? And how do I get a backup copy of my blogs? (I am currently on the free plan)

    2. Will it affect my email address when I upgrade?

    3. How do I go about going from the free plan to the paid one?

    Hi Nick,

    am I able to change the theme of my blog or does word press do that for me?

    Upgrading to a paid plan won’t automatically change the theme you are using, so you can continue using Edin if you are happy. New themes can be activated from the Themes page as often as you like, whenever you like:

    https://wordpress.com/themes/

    And how do I get a backup copy of my blogs?

    Are you referring to a general backup of your content?

    Will it affect my email address when I upgrade?

    Upgrading to a paid plan won’t change the email address on your Account Settings page. Is this what you mean or are you referring to an existing email address at a custom domain?

    How do I go about going from the free plan to the paid one?

    You can upgrade from the Plans page:
