WordAds not showing

  Hey guys, I’ve had issues with WordAds for the past month. They for some reason stopped showing. Nothing has changed on my end. I asked for help about 3 weeks ago and thought it was due to a plugin I was using. I deleted the Autoptimize plugin and the ads came back, but only momentarily. Ever since, the ads don’t show. Can someone take a look? My site is allpunkedup.com

  Hi there,

  The space where the ad should appear is loading on your posts and pages, and on one page it loaded an add for me, which means the AdControl plugin is working as it should.

  This means the most likely reason why ads aren’t showing is that our advertising partners just aren’t bidding on ad space on your site. This can happen for several reasons, the most common being that your content is not family-safe, or that our advertising partners don’t consider it original or high-quality enough.

  I’ll ask a developer to check in case it’s something else, but if it’s that our advertisers are simply not bidding there’s not really anything we can do.

  Ok that makes sense if that’s the case; however, what would be an example of not family-safe websites? There’s no nudity, but I know there is little profanity. Could profanity make a site fall into the not family-safe category? If you can still have a developer look into it, I’d appreciate it :)

  Not sure about profanity. Nudity, violence and hate speech, definitely.

  But we are recording impressions for your site, so it appears that advertisers are bidding on it. It could be the Google Adsense code is interfering somehow. Can you please temporarily disable Adsense and see if the WordAds ads appear then?

  Hi, I’ve commented out the Google Adsense code and WordAds still isn’t showing.

  We’re still investigating.

  We’ve managed to get ads to appear on your site on a few occasions, but they should be showing all the time, so we’re following up with the service that actually serves the ads on your site to make sure this isn’t a problem on their end. I’ll let you know as soon as we get a reply from them.
