I got a domain name from go daddy and when we tried to connect WordPress to go daddy there was a window to add WordPress got url, “bugsiesplace.com” then I believe. . The user “admin” log in name then password. I believe that my log in is (email visible only to moderators and staff) & password [redacted]. That’s what I need is the “admin” name. Hi there,

What is the URL of the site you are trying to log in to? Also, please do not post sensitive information like passwords to these forums as they are public :)

    Hi there,

I signed up with godaddy to host and trying to integrate my wordpress admin name

You have a self hosted WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site. The differences between the two are explained here:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

We are only about to help with WordPress.com sites, so you will need to speak to GoDaddy if you are unable to remember your admin name. They should be able to help you out.

Best of luck getting this sorted.

Hi, I spoke to GoDaddy they informed me that WordPress will have to help me with the WordPress the admin name. As a rep for WordPress there should be no issue with helping me with admin name. At this point I’m not able to post WordPress via net to make $$ online. Please help me. Thank You Bonnie d

    Hi Bonnie,

If your site was hosted on WordPress.com I’d be able to help you.

With a self hosted WordPress.org site, we have no access to your account because the site is not hosted on our servers.

As much as I’d love to help you, I can’t because I’m unable to access a site hosted elsewhere. I appreciate GoDaddy have referred you back here but I’d recommend speaking to them again as they may have assumed you were referring to a WordPress.com site.

Just so you know, you have one site in your account: bonnie64com. I can help you with one because it’s hosted on WordPress.com.

Keep me updated with how you get on.

    Hi Bonnie,

WordPress is a host? I didn’t need to sign up with Godaddy?

    There are versions of WordPress:

    1. WordPress.com. Your site is hosted on our servers.

    2. WordPress.org. You choose your own hosting provider.

With WordPress.org you can upload custom themes and plugins. If you want to use these features, you have done the right thing by setting up GoDaddy hosting.

I’m happy to answer any questions you have :)
