wordpress.com Business and Web Application Firewall (WAF)

    I’m evaluating setting up a site for our business and would like to know if there is a full WAF protecting managed hosting sites (wordpress.com Business specifically). I know you can integrate a WAF if you host yourself, but it does not state specifically in the security documentation if a WAF is a used for wordpress.com.

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com Business is a managed hosting environment so it’s not possible or you to set up your own firewall, but we do use a WAF on our service and it protects all Business sites on WordPress.com. More info about our security here: https://wordpress.com/support/security/
