WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

  I am taking a class on creating a WordPress website, and realize that I should have signed up for WordPress.org instead of WordPress.com! How do I change it?

  You can follow this to move any content added to WordPress.com to a WordPress.org powered website. https://move.wordpress.com/

  Note that WordPress.org does not host websites, but instead is free software. You’ll need a hosting provider to install it, and your instructor may have one they recommend.
