WordPress Editor 'The editor has encountered an unexpected error.'

    Hello,

    I am trying to edit posts on my WordPress site. I use Gutenburg as an editor and a custom-built theme. When I go to edit a post I get the message ‘The editor has encountered an unexpected error ‘attempt recovery’ ‘copy text’ ‘copy errror” (See below for Error Text.)

    I disabled all plugins on my website but the error persisted. See Below for the details of my plugins, error message and hosting site. Any help is appreciated!

    Hi there, this support forum assists users with free websites hosted on the WPcom platform. WPcom (where we are ) and WP are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

    By the looks of it you need help with a site using the open source WP software, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
