WordPress Freezed when I want to delete People in a Blog

  We have a blog with a lot of obsolete contributors.

  I went to the interface at “https://wordpress.com/people/edit/ ..”

  I do not want to delete the content created by the users, so I select “Attributes all content to <select a user>”

  As soon as I mouseover <wordpress freezes to death.

  It happens in Chrome, Edge, IE, Safari and Firefox on two different machines, one iOS and one Win10.

  Hi there,

  Can you please confirm this is for http://derwahreinfoblog.wordpress.com/? Can you provide one of the usernames you’re trying to remove and indicate who their content should be attributed to so we can try testing it on our end? This is likely related to the number of contributors, as I cannot replicate the issue on a site with only a handful.

  You should also be able to remove these contributors from https://derwahreinfoblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php – if you remove them from there you can do it without re-attributing their content. In other words, the user who actually wrote the post would still show as the author of the post, even though they’ll no longer have access to the post to edit it.
