WordPress has given me a different domain name than I requested

    This is my first attempt. I just requested my domain name to be ‘france-the-artist.com’ but the screen stuck for quite awhile during PayPal payment, without mentioning if the payment went through, so I logged back in only to see that WordPress has sent me ‘francetheartist.wordpress.com’. Is this a temporary name until it goes live? It is important to me that I have the domain I requested. How can this be rectified, please?

    Hi (13 hours later) – despite no answer from you, I re-re-checked both the domain account and PayPal again this morning and it seems that the payment just didn’t get through, or has been delayed for some reason. I have now payed by card and all seems fine.

    Please confirm that, despite hitting the PayPal button twice, no payment had been received via that method. If the 2 payments go through, I will be contacting you again.

    I’ve checked your account and france-the-artist.com was successfully registered when you purchased the Personal plan by card:

    Please confirm that, despite hitting the PayPal button twice, no payment had been received via that method.

    That’s correct, only one payment was processed and there is confirmation of this in your Billing History:
