wordpress help

    Hi,
    My former IT guy used to manage my website and now he has left us.
    I thought I take on this responsibility.

    1/ what is the difference of logging into wordpress.com vs. http://ttran.com.au/wp-admin/edit.php; my IT guy told me to log into here to add posts. But I want to be able to do other things like design, integrations with mailchimp facebook etc. It makes me suspect that the latter log in is basic, and I need an account with wordpress.com (which i never had)

    2/ do I need to bring http://ttran.com.au/wp-admin/edit.php over to my wordpress.com account?

    You can use our service, which provides hosting and management, as well as support with paid plans. If you use our service, you would need a business plan to add plugins.

    Or, you can buy hosting elsewhere, and set up your own free WordPress installation there. Just note many hosts do not offer WordPress management and support, or they charge extra for it. This is a good option if you want to handle the technical end of things yourself. You’ll still have access to the WordPress.org community here, too: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
