WordPress Loss of Functionality
-
Hi, so I am the current administrator of an existent blog and have suddenly lost all functionality on the back end. My logins are sporadic and often my password is not accepted, I cannot add media or look at the back end code. I have lost the ability to do everything other than look at posts. From what I’ve read it may have something to do with the older version of WP we’re running or possibly the theme and its plugins which at present I am not able to access. Please let me know if any of this sounds familiar to you or if you require further information and testing to deduce a solution. Thank you.
All the best,
Eli Mann

Hi Eli,
It’s impossible for us to help you if you don’t tell us the URL of the site you’re referring to. What is the site’s address? The account you’re using to post here has never owned any sites with us and was only created around 6 hours ago.
Note that in this forum we can only help with sites that are hosted on WordPress.com, and on WordPress.com we don’t have WordPress version numbers, and themes and plugins can only be used on sites that have our Business Plan upgrade.
If you’re using the stand-alone WordPress software at another host, please ask for help in https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ instead, or contact your hosting provider directly.

Thank you Kokkieh,
I believe it may be due to our outdated version and/or our plugins and themes which my admin level is not able to access.

That would indicate that you are using the other version of WordPress. The open source WordPress.org software. Help for that comes from https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
