  Hi,

  I am starting my own blog on wordpress.com. I have a few questions:

  1. Can I add SEO plugins if I choose WordPress personal.
  2. Can I remove the date from the URL if I choose WordPress personal.
  3. what is the difference between WordPress personal sites premium and WordPress business sites premium. Please let me know if it’s the same plan.
  4. what is the main difference between personal and premium?

  Hi there,

  1. Can I add SEO plugins if I choose WordPress personal.

  No, you can’t. You’ll need to upgrade to the Business plan to be able to install plugins and use our SEO tools. However, all WordPress.com sites (even the free ones) are very SEO friendly by default. You can read more here:

  2. Can I remove the date from the URL if I choose WordPress personal.

  No, you can’t. To alter that (called permalink) you’ll need to upgrade to our Business plan.

  There aren’t such plans. We only have four plans. Personal, Premium, Business, and eCommerce. You can see each plan’s features here:

  The Premium plan has all the features of the Personal plan plus the following:
