WordPress reader does not display / update the new posts of tumblrs that I follow

To keep up-to-date with newest tumblr posts I follow some tumblr blogs. At first all new (and old) posts were shown just like all other kind of blogs I follow, in the WordPress reader. But since a while I can only get them as rss feed (no updated image posts anymore). How can I change this again to see all new incoming tumblr posts?

update: Step by step the images of tumblrs I follow are displayed, not quite up-to-date, but there is obviously an improvement.

Hi there,
I followed your Tumblr in the Reader and it shows images for me as it’s supposed to.
Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and see if that makes a difference? Also note that is you have several posts from the same site in a row in the Reader they’ll show as combined cards, i.e. just a small image with the title and a short excerpt, rather than the bigger cards that show for single posts.

I deleted the browser cache and cookies, but I am sorry to say, that it did not make any difference. Some tumblr blogs are displayed and updated, others are not (including my own tumblr blog(s). -
What exactly do you mean they’re not displayed? Do you mean the posts don’t show at all? In that case what are the addresses of the blogs in question?
I checked the Reader feed for your account and I can see posts from several Tumblr sites, and they all display the way they are supposed to, so I please need more information on exactly what is not the way it should be for you.

If I take my own blog for instance : I know I posted 13 posts after May 4th (which is the last tumblr post shown at my WordPress dashboard) Updates since then are not displayed. (url: http://creatingmyownworldaroundme.tumblr.com
My other blog has not been updated since May 5th, but I have posted 15 posts afterwards. (url : http://creatingmyownbookworldaroundme.tumblr.com)
And a blog of a tumblr friend who usually posts two photos a day (except for May 5th). His posts have not been displayed in my reader since May 4th (url: http://danspb.tumblr.com/)
The other tumblrs are up-to-date and displayed correctly (text-images) and the reader is working fine for the rest It is not really important, but it would be nice to follow / track tumblr posts while not being logged in at tumblr, you see?

It looks like this might just be a glitch with your account. I’ve unfollowed and refollowed those sites in your account, and you should be seeing posts from them again now.

Thank you very much for taking the trouble. The reader is working fine now, I can see all updated posts coming in. I do not know who to close a forum topic, but it can be closed now that the “problem” has been solved.
