WordPress site address

    Hi,

I’d previously set up another WP blog, and forgot about it, so I set up a new one. I suspect that, because the original name was unavailable (gunghogeeks.wordpress.com), I received a ‘5’ at the end of ‘gunghogeeks’, making my current blog ‘gunghogeeks5.wordpress.com.

I have since closed down the previous site and was wondering if I can revert to the original name, without the 5, and how I could go about it without it being considered a custom domain name.

    Cheers!

That’s not possible. When you delete a site, it is clearly stated the wordpress.com subdomain gets locked forever.

A possible solution is to go for our Personal Plan and choose a custom domain.
