WordPress stopped sending me email reminders to post new blog posts.

I was receiving weekly email reminders to post in my blog. They stopped coming, and I want them back! I miss them. I am a busy person and I liked the email reminders! Can’t find where/how to get them back. Thanks so much for your assistance.

I’m extremely busy too and I have done the opposite. I disable everything that increases my email load. lol :D
When you got to > https://wordpress.com/settings/account/ do you find the setting has been enabled?
If it has been then please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail. If it’s not there then please post the URL of the blog starting with http:// I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. it wasn’t a “post goals” feature that i know of – when i signed up for my blog, i was prompted if i wanted an email reminder to post my blog and how often. i chose weekly. i was getting the email reminders, then they just stopped coming about a month ago, no warning that they were stopping. i check my spam every day. there’s nothing in there from wordpress, ever. things are still enabled on my end… i get notifications about comments or likes, but no more reminders. is that what you meant, shawnajroberts – that we no longer can receive automatic reminder emails to post to our blogs? how sad. i will miss that. is there any other way i can set up reminder emails? yahoo groups has this feature so i am hoping there is some way to do it on wordpress. otherwise, love how easy the rest of it is.

timethief – i didn’t think to check my gmail account, but the other emails are coming to my yahoo account.! my setting is for instant email so that i can moderate and respond to comments. thanks.

It is a Post Goals feature. That is why it isn’t happening.
I suggest you just add a repeating Event to your Google Calendar, and have it email you a reminder.

Bummer… is wordpress ever going to re-instate that? it was a great service. I’m pretty new here at wordpress. thanks for all your responses. i will give up (reluctantly) now. :)

No guarantees, but I’ll mention it to the team! The tool needed some attention hence the disabling.
raincoaster’s suggestion is a great alternative. I personally do something similar with a ‘habit tracking’ program that I use. Although, I still constantly forget to post. :P

It was so simple! yahoo calendar had a way to get weekly reminders via email – thanks all for your suggestions, everyone.
