WordPress sucks…may I explain?

    WordPress sucks…let me count the ways:

    1. Why do I need a Fort Knox password to POST A COMMENT? I’m blocked from using the password I use for things that hardly need security (no it’s not 1234) so I won’t remember it and will likely give up on wordpress.

    2. I post a comment. It’s not there. I write it again and post it again. OOPs I’ve double posted, but I still don’t see my comment. Is it in line to be moderated or is it gone cuz I did something slightly wrong? Don’t know…wordpress offers no indication either way…. WTF.

    3. I write a comment. OOPs I forgot to sign in. So I’m instructed and lead to do that. Done. Am I returned to my comment? No. GONE. Why do I waste my time?

    A link to a site that you are trying to leave a comment on would certainly help.

    1. Site owners can choose whether or not to allow non-logged in WP users to comment. You might also be able to leave a comment with FB and/or Twitter and G+ accounts.

    2. If a comment is in moderation, it will show with a note above or below, “Your comment is awaiting moderation”. If it just disappears, you may have been marked in the system as spam.

    Go to this page, http://akismet.com/contact/ and type anything. When the contact form opens up, click the “I think Akismet is catching my comments by mistake.” Fill out the form and wait for the folks from Akismet to get back to you.

    3. Log in first, comment later. If you forget to do it in that order, copy the comment to your clipboard and then paste it after you’ve logged in. It sucks, I know.
