  I want to purchase a WordPress theme – Eight – but it’s not clear if the price is a one-off fee or if I need to renew annually?

  Purchase of a Premium theme is a one-time purchase and can be used for the life of your blog on WordPress.com. If you decide to move off WordPress.com, you cannot transfer the theme with you. If you decide the theme is not for you, you can request a refund within 30 days from purchase.
