I don’t like any of the WordPress Themes and searched the Internet for websites that had themes for WordPress. Well, I downloaded a new theme, saved to my computer in a zip file, and extracted the files. Now what do I do?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Now throw the files away. In a wp.COM blog you can only use one of the themes found under Appearance>Themes.

If you have CSS editing experience, you can get the paid custom CSS upgrade, which will allow you to stylize the themes here, but it does not allow you to change the functionality of the theme or upload new ones. Since there is no official support for the CSS upgrade, do not buy the upgrade unless you have at least moderate understanding of CSS. Before buying the upgrade, you can go to appearance > edit CSS and wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try out changes before you buy the upgrade.

Also note that CSS is theme specific, so you cannot use the CSS from other themes with the themes here at wordpress.COM.

If you want to use the theme you have, then buy yourself a domain name (about $6-$15 per year) hire a web host ($7-$25 per month) download, install and configure the software from wordpress.ORG on that web host, and then you can upload any theme you want, and do anything your heart desires to that theme.
