Hi, is there any way (without having the premium plan) to share posts that are shared here on my WordPress blog automatically to Tumblr. I just signed up for Tumblr yesterday and connected to the account. However, even though it showed as ‘connected to Tumblr’ on my WP account page I don’t see any of my published posts appearing on Tumblr. I currently have the free plan with WordPress. Please consider making an option to do this for free plan and users too. That is not fair. I see it says to click ‘Publicize’ but right now this is not feasible for me. Is there any way to do it besides that? Thank you

Yes, you can do it with Publicize.

Please confirm which site you’re inquiring about and then we can look at the Publicize logs closer.
A good first step would be to disconnect and reconnect Tumblr.

Hi,
So I clicked on:
1) Marketing & Integrations
2) Connections
3) I get a message saying: “sharing posts to your Tumblr blog”
4) There is a little icon of my blog with check mark box which I ticked off that says: “connection available to all administrators, editos and authors)***However, my posts are still not showing up on Tumblr even though I disconnect and connect :(

The only post published after connecting Publicize for Tumblr was published as Private.
We do not Publicize private posts.

Hi, thx for your response. Actually it’s set to private as I’m still working on this post and it is not completed yet. So I’m guessing that any future new posts I publish will show up on my Tumblr blog feed too. I guess I was just hoping that my past published posts would show up…

Overall, Publicize will only for for newly published posts, and they must be published publicly.
