  Hi WordPress & all,

  We’re currently on wordpress version 6.1 and wondering if you would be updating 1x?Are there any associated risks with this version, if so are you planning on doing a patch?

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com is a managed hosting provider so we actually take care of updates automatically. Is it possible you are not hosting your site on WordPress.com (we don’t see any sites under your account with us) but instead using the self-hosted websites, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.

  On those kinds of providers you do usually have to remember to update WordPress manally. We are not familiar with that process because updates are handled automatically here on WordPress.com, but you can find help in these forums for the self-hosted version of WordPress that you are using with other providers:
