wordpress update to 5.0.2

I’ve managed a blog with WordPress for several years and have kept up with the updates. Recently I updated to 5.0.2. Since then my editing page completely changed and I’m unable to use it. I see none of my text or accompanying photos there to edit, like I did prior to the update. After looking in WordPress support, I haven’t found any help. I’d prefer to email them about it or speak to them on the phone.

It looks like you’re asking in the wrong support forum. You can always add a plugin to use the more-familiar editor: https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/
