WordPress version check

I can’t find what version of WordPress I’m using–anywhere–in the new dashboard. Why not? Where is it clearly and easily listed???

Wordpress.com doesn’t have versions as the open source wordpress.org has. That’s why you can’t find the version.

I have a WordPress.com personal account and can’t find the version listed ANYWHERE in the new admin dashboard “My Home” view.
In previous version it was clearly displayed in lower right corner.
NONE OF THESE OLD WAYS APPEAR TO WORK:
That is why I am asking.

All WordPress.com sites run the latest version of WordPress, and they are automatically updated.

The link you mention is for sites using the open source wordpress.org, not for sites running on the wordpress.com platform.

Thank you, I think I understand now. I assumed that WordPress.com was similar to other hosting services but now understand WordPress.com is “managed” to the point of always using the latest version.
However, it would be helpful to have some confirmation in WordPress.com of what version is currently being used rather than some mysterious promise it is up to date.
