  I continue to get emails from WordPress saying I have ‘changed my email and password.’ This has happened 10 times in the past couple of days. Someone is trying to use my account and I can’t login. There have been numerous emails used and I have no way of stopping it without access. The password has also been changed numerous times with the emails. Is there anything I can do?

  The only way that someone can successfully change your password is if they also have access to your email account. When a password reset is requested you have to verify that change through your email as well.

  It sounds like your email account is compromised.

  What you need to do is change the password on your email account now and contact the support team for that email client. Enable 2 factor authentication as well. This is an added layer of security for any online account. Use it whenever it’s available.

  If you are locked out of the WordPress.com account you can reset the password and then also enable 2 factor authentication on this account as well. The only other recovery option would be through the recovery form at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
