WordPress Will NOT recognize my Password or allow me to change settings. Yet Shows Me Logged In!

I can’t post to ANY site that use WordPress to verify log-in. All my accounts won’t let me in, and WordPress doesn’t recognize my E-mail address anymore.
Any Ideas as to how to proceed?

Can you please give the URL of a site you’re trying to log into using your WordPress.com account?
Does it help if you clear your browser cookies or try logging in in incognito mode? If you’re using any anti-tracking browser add-ons, also try disabling those.

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, meaning it’s entirely self-contained.
In order to comment there, you will need to register for an account there, your WordPress.com account will not work.

I have had an account with KDKA (CBS) since 2008. But to post to the site you must log in thru WordPress. Now, all of a sudden, I can’t log in via WordPress. I have 3 other sites that you must go thru WordPress to post.
The BIG problem is WordPress say’s my E-mail doesn’t exist. I can’t log in WordPress, yet when I go thru my chrome browser to WordPress web site…it shows me logged in.

The site is entirely self-contained, we have absolutely no control over it.
While the site does allow logging in via WordPress.com, that WordPress.com account would still need to be connected to an _existing_ account on _their_ end. It doesn’t provide wholesale login access to anyone with a WordPress.com account.

Thank You. I TRY and talk to them tomorrow.
Now, any idea WHY WordPress doesn’t recognize me as having an account-when I attempt to log in, or change any of my settings?
It says “E-Mail account not listed” I have tried accessing thru all 4 of my different E-mail accounts. It doesn’t recognize Deputy53.

It’s most likely because you don’t have an account on the site itself.
On self-contained sites like this, you’d have to first register for an account there, before you can attach your WordPress.com account to it.
