WordPress won’t let me post my profile picture

  When I try to post a profile picture, a message pops up that says ‘Well done!Your profile picture has been saved’ etc. BUT peeking out from behind that message is a second message which is so hidden behind the other message, I can’t see it all, but it has a warning sign. What I can see says, Hmm , you’re new…’ That’s it. That’s all I can see. I am the one who took this photo, so there’s no weird copyright locks in place or anything. It’s a photo of a flower–not a nude person or anything… Can you help? Thanks.
