Hi there,
I can understand how frustrating this must be as you’ve already tried switching browsers and even formatting your PC!
The good news is the clue is right there in your description: it works in private/incognito mode. That tells us the issue is with stored browser data (cookies, cached files, or local storage) on your desktop, and not with your site itself.
Here’s what I’d recommend trying:
1. Clear site data specifically for WordPress.com: Rather than clearing all browsing data, target just WordPress.com:
- In Firefox: Click the padlock icon in the address bar → “Clear cookies and site data” → Confirm.
- In Brave/Chrome: Click the padlock icon → “Site settings” → “Clear data.”
Please do this for both
wordpress.com andmahkinah.com.2. Check if browser sync is restoring old data: If you’re signed into Firefox Sync (or Brave Sync), your old cookies and cached data may be syncing back from the cloud — even after formatting. Try this:
- Temporarily turn off sync in your browser settings.
- Clear the site data again (step 1).
- Then test loading your site.
3. Try logging in fresh: After clearing the data, go to wordpress.com/log-in and sign in again.
Also, go through some troubleshooting steps if the above steps do not fix the issue: https://wordpress.com/support/browser-issues/#further-troubleshooting
If none of that helps, could you share the exact error or behavior you see? For example, does the page stay blank, show a spinning indicator, or display any error message? A screenshot would be really helpful.
Looking forward to helping you get this sorted!
