WordPress won't stop charging me

    Every year I go through the same rigmarole with WordPress where I seem to get charged for a service I’ve cancelled. This year it happened again, so I couldn’t help but assume that this was fraudulent activity (i.e. Someone other than WordPress charging me) – – after all, what company keeps charging you after you’ve discontinued the annual registration/hosting fee for your domain. Now that this has happened two years in a row, I’m really concerned. How can I (a) get a refund, and (b) ensure this doesn’t happen again next year? Should I delete my blog entirely to ensure I don’t get billed in future? I’m really disappointed with my WordPress experience seeing as this has now happened twice.
