wordpress.com domain transferred to wordpress.org theme

  I registered my domain through wordpress.com but I bought a theme from Elegant Domains. It seems that I can’t run this theme through a wordpress.com blog but it will work with a wordpress.org blog. Can I keep the domain that I purchased and use it with the theme that I bought. I already have a host.

  Absolutely. You can point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), with these steps:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)
