Hi there,
Do you mean from the WordPress.com site, apeaceofcreativity.wordpress.com, to the Jetpack site at apeaceofcreativity.com?
Also note that there’s no reason to have a domain mapping upgrade in your account if you’re not using your domain with a WordPress.com site. Let me know if I must cancel and refund that for you.
If you want to redirect traffic from your WordPress.com address to the new site, you need to use the Site Redirect upgrade instead:
-
Yes please cancel and refund my domain upgrade as it is not needed. That’s right about the stats, they were on Jetpack when I was using wordpress.com but Iam now using wordpress.org with my own hosting and all my stats are gone. Can you transfer?
-
Thanks for confirming. I’ve moved the stats over for you. I’ve also cancelled and refunded the domain mapping on your WordPress.com site. You should receive the refund in about 10 business days.
I notice you still have a number of followers on the WordPress.com site as well. Jetpack allows you to move those over to the self-hosted site so they’ll receive updates from the new site in their Readers instead. You can find the instructions here:

Ok I need some more help. How do I redirect the wordpress.com site apeaceofcreativity.wordpress.com to apeaceofcreativity.com? I’m getting separate stats now on the wordpress site.
-
As I mentioned above, you’ll need the site redirect upgrade to do this.
The mapping upgrade is used to have your WordPress.com site appear at a domain somewhere else, while the site redirect is used to send traffic to the WordPress.com site, to a different site. It costs the same as mapping, but has the opposite result.
So with this upgrade, anyone clicking on a link to the old WordPress.com site, will be taken to the new site instead.
