Would like to have pdf be top level page. Possibility of changing attachment page URL?

I have a pdf that I have uploaded to my site. its has its own attachment page but I would like the pdf to occupy a top level page link. for instance as an example if my site was mysite.com and I have pages mysite.com/home mysite.com/faq mysite.com/contact-us…. I want to have this attachment be at the page mysite.com/myfile.pdf . I don’t want to embed the file in a page or anything like that. I cant seem to figure out how to do this.

Hi! I think you’ll want to embed the PDF into the page, and then link to that.
Also, the site you mentioned isn’t hosted here with us, so you might need a plugin for embedding the PDF. Here’s the difference between our services and the free WordPress software:
