would WP be goos for a gallery site

  Hi there,

  New here, but I need to design a site that will be use to showcase works of art with frequent additions and deletions therefore a CMS is need, would a WP platform be good for this, I am v. good at html and CSS etc, but not mySQL and PHP therefore using a ready made system.

  If you thinks WP would be good would also recommend me the best image/gallery plug ins.

  BTW I wont be using a pre-made WP theme, up a custom one based on ThemeShaper “How to made a wordpress theme”

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.
