support team, what happens when you close an account?
Kindly explain what ramifications, are we able to still choose
the same username? What does it mean when it shows
‘Account Deleted!’? What alternatives can be possible for
‘tainanformosa’? which was created September 25, 2012
7 years, the password long forgot, the account may
have been renamed or how can I find out
whether it was deleted or no, since I
forgot, I want to be sure. Is any method to
assist if I remember wrong and the account
may have been deleted in error, how else can
wp account recovery form do your best to get
‘tainanformosa’ running again? I want to access
the Gravatars part to remove the picture of me
i posted 7 years ago, unfortunately i have none
of the ‘Proof of Ownership’ that wp requests, what
else can be done? I did not keep the email with
the unique activation link or key to verify account,
but i have other emails that wp mailed, how can any
of these emails assist with the activations? can user
names ever be used again, after deleting wp account,
any time or just the unable to open a new wp account
using the same user name for 30 days?
If account closures cannot be undone, then why is the
user name not made available again? it may remove
account, along with all sites, and all contents, which is
understandable, but unable to use the user name when
it has become available again right? Kindly let me know?

Closing your account deletes all of the sites you own and all their contents, https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/
The account tainanformosa has been created on August 14th 2015 and is still up and running. If this is your account, you can restore access by going to https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/. WordPress.com has a rather strict policy regarding account recovery.

Usernames of deleted accounts and names of deleted websites will simply never be availablehttps://wordpress.com/ for use again. That’s how wordpress.com works, https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/#usernames-cannot-be-re-used-after-closure. Why would you delete your account to start a new account with the same name; what’s the logic?
You can reuse the same emailaddress (not the username!) as the closed account after 30 days, https://en.support.wordpress.com/close-account/#account-restoration
