WP issues cause trouble with page title, page url, page slug navigation label

My website is http://blogdynamix.com/ using ‘The Untitled Theme’.
I created a new page via the old editor’s dashboard, naming it “testing123”. In the old editor, under ‘Editing Menus’ (https://blogdynamics.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php), I added the new page by check-marking it in the overview window that shows all pages and by clicking the ‘Add to menu’ button and saving the menu. When I open my home page at http://blogdynamix.com/ I saw the new menu button (testing123) was added to the main menu on top of the page. I opened the “testing123” page by clicking on the menu button and the New Editor opened showing the ‘page slug’ as well as the ‘page title’ saying “testing123”. When I edited the page title form “testing123” to “23”, updated it and viewed the page, the ‘page title’ as well as the ‘menu button’ had changed into “23”. The page url showed the initially set ‘page title’ – http://blogdynamix.com/testing123/.When I went back into the ‘menu page’ through the old editor, it appeared that the ‘navigation label’ had changed from “testing123” into “23” as well. So, my newly discovered problem is that ‘page titles’ are now identical with the ‘navigation labels’ – they for some strange reason are no longer independent from another. Just imagine the dilemma of naming a page in example “cars for sale” and then having this page title showing up in your website’s main menu. This is precisely what happened to some of my client’s sites during the resent WP issues. These site however have “normalized” again during the past 24 hours. However not in my site at: http://blogdynamix.com/
Does anyone have any suggestions – preferrably, can you guys reverse or fix your most recent changes in WP.com ?? Most of us here are trying to make a living with web design, having to use tools which others are constantly changing at times to our demise.

Unless something breaks the system, reversals to the software are rare. We are on continuous update/upgrade rollout here on WordPress.com and multiple changes happen every day.

It sounds like this was related to a mistake we made with the Customizer, which should be fixed by now.

staff-blorbo – By the time stamp, this forum thread was started quite a bit after the fix was rolled out.
When I posted my above reply, the issue/page was still evident on the OP’s site. It has since been removed.

Ah, excellent. Some of the things that were broken had to be manually re-done by the blogger, so that may have been the case.
