WP Page Stuck on ‘Updating…’

  When I try to publish or save a page, the button switches to ‘Updating.’ Should I try to refresh the page or close my laptop and return to the page, I see a red bar at the top of the screen which says ‘Failed to Update’ or ‘Failed to Publish.’

  Would really appreciate any help!
