I am about to start a new website and thinking in getting WP PRO Plan. When WP offers unlimited PLUGINS, does it mean that I get Elementor (or any plugin in WP) for Free? or just the basic plugins or not at all?

Hi there,
Plugins on your site are in many ways similar to apps that you install on your phone. There are many free ones, some of which are very good. Also there are many paid ones as well, some that are worth the cost.
This is true of plugins as well. Your upgrade will allow you to upload any plugin “designed to work with WordPress” and many (probably most) of the plugins you need will be free. But because WordPress is an open platform, companies we have no official relationship with also can offer plugins that work with WordPress.
That is the case with Elementor, which offers an alternative editor to the BLock Editor included in WordPress, but they do charge for the use of the premium version of their plugin, and it’s not something that is included in your WordPress.com plan.
Regarding “unlimited” it is my understanding that some providers can limit the total number of plugins on your site so some arbitrary number (10 or 20 for example) whereas on our plan you can have as many plugins as you wish, though you may still need to pay a 3rd party like Elementor to be able to use their plugin.
