WP shows URLs in text as blockquotes

The problem that I have is:

I had a list of links (URLs) on a page, that weren’t displayed as links (were not clickable), but after an WP update, a lot of them, gut not all, are suddenly displayed as blockquotes (so they are clickable). As I don’t want to have clickable links on that page – how can I reverse this effect?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

In tests with both the Ideation & Intent and the Koi theme (the one I use on my primary site) activated, the presence or absence of blockquotes around an URL inserted in a page had no effect on whether it formed a link. In both cases, in each theme, the URL created a link, and was therefore “clickable.”

You could remove the https:// portion of each URL. That would eliminate the automatic creating of links.
