WP site doesn’t resolve from URL posted to About.me Social Media WordPress

    There is a blog button on the About.me site (https://about.me/phillip.long/) for my account there that points to my WordPress blog (https://longpd.wordpress.com/). I enter it correctly, but it always resolves to https://longpd.com. I don’t have a personalized domain with you. As a result it just gives the user an error. I know it’s an About.me problem, but they have no help referencing this in their help pages, and as far as I can tell, no means of emailing them or contacting them directly. I thought you might have other WordPress blog customers who have encountered this and thus some advice to offer.

    Hi there,

    I visited your page at about.me and I can see your issue in the source code of the page. It seems that the button on about.me is linking to the longpd.com url directly from what I can see there:

    Sadly, because this is coded as the URL on about.me, there isn’t really anything we can do on this end. You will need to get assistance from about.me to resolve this issue. Sorry that we can’t be of more assistance, that is a very frustrating issue. :(
