WP site missing after domain transfer
-
I recently swapped two godaddy domains where my original WP site (pm-rehab.com) would be replaced with a Cpanel hosted site (projectmanagementrehabilitation.com).
However, prior to making this swap, I did not realize that the domain hosting the new CPanel site was being forwarded to the domain for my original WP site.
The CPanel site is on pm-rehab.com (as it should be) and working fine but the WP site (projectmanagementrehabilitation.com) is not an active site and when checking godaddy, it mirrors the CPanel site that is on pm-rehab.com. Also, my WP account has lost all historical information and hoping there is a way that I can recover this account to remove the forwarding.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
I’m not seeing any record of these domains ever being hosted on WordPress.com. Am I correct in assuming that these are sites built with the WordPress open-source software (from WordPress.org) that you have hosted with GoDaddy or another webhost?
If that is the case, I’m afraid we cannot help. We’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us here at WordPress.com. For help with a WordPress site hosted elsewhere you’ll need to ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Depending on the level of support that is included with your hosting plan, your webhost’s support team may also be able to assist.
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the open-source WordPress software you can read this article:
If I have misunderstood the situation and you do have sites hosted here with us at WordPress.com, please let us know and we will see what can be done to sort things out.
