  Hi. I want to connect to an external API on my WordPress website and get data. How can I do this for free? I heard about the WPGetAPI Plugin but it requires a plan upgrade. Can I use it for free?

  There is no way round but if you want to use a third party plugin on the wordpress.com platform, you must upgrade to the Business Plan.
