Writer deleted by blog without asking me

  I paid a writer to create a story blog for me which she did and was hosting fine for almost a year then one day when trying to access I got notified it had been deleted by the author and is no longer available. I did’nt authorise her to delete it and on checking the Support it appears any deleted blogs are not backed up or restorable.

  I also do not have her name as it was a year ago we paid her to set this up. I am quite upset as I would be willing to create my own blog and have the content moved to it and have joined just to do this.

  Is there any way the writer can be contacted by wordpress? Is it a lost hope?

  Thanks – I have tried but their support contact is currently down for ‘template maintenance’ and suggested I go onto the forum.
