wrong directory

  Hi,
  Created a website with the wrong directory. The domain is carolandme.com and the directory is carolandme.com . it should have been /index.html.
  Furthermore, I attempted to create a website with Wp and used the carolandme.com directory. I deleted that site but still can not use the domain carolandme.com .
  I get *there is already a website installed there*.

  Is there a way to clear all the websites so that I may start from scratch? or have the Carolandme.com Directory changed to index/html ?

If they say this is a WordPress problem, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
